37 weeks

Baby Showers

I have been fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to spend a great deal of the summer at baby showers. Lots for friends of mine (seriously everyone in Midland and especially our JLM provisional class is having a baby!) and some for me. I was able to see many friends and family members that I do not normally get to see - plus it got me out of the house and was a ton of fun!

Em drove in from Dallas, Megan avoided a crisis with 2 little boys and my sister made it in from NOLA!

Jacqui has literally known me my whole life. I was SO glad that she made it to the shower. The WHOLE Glomb family has been such a big part of my life and I can't wait for the little one to get to know them too!

PS- I am going to have to get WAY better at remembering to take pictures or this baby isn't going to have any photos of him.

36 weeks

Here we are at 36 weeks. The countdown has seriously started! I have the hospital bag almost completely packed, call lists are made and saved in our phones and the nursery is almost done. As with most of my projects I continue to tweak and improve things.

I have laid off the hamburgers a bit but chocolate shakes are still a favorite! I have eaten quite a bit of watermelon but I think that has more to do with the summer than being pregnant.

I am thinking of all my fellow preggos as we hide out in the A/C this summer :)
